CHALLENGE
Universal Music Colombia wanted to showcase the energy and diversity of the Latin American music scene through a website that reflected their iconic brand while also feeling fresh, modern, and engaging. The site had to connect deeply with music fans, enabling them to discover artists, watch videos, and immerse themselves in Universal’s vibrant catalog.
OBJECTIVE
To design and develop an immersive, responsive web platform that not only embodied the Universal Music brand but also offered fans a seamless experience across devices. The goal was to create a visually stunning and intuitive site that celebrated Latin American music while increasing visibility through strong SEO.
ROLE & PROCESS
I worked as part of the design team alongside a creative director and production manager. My responsibilities included: ・Designing the UI and crafting the visual language aligned with Universal’s brand. ・Integrating animations and interactive features for a dynamic experience. ・Collaborating on creating a fully responsive, mobile-friendly design. ・Ensuring accessibility, usability, and optimization for search engines. ・Partnering closely with Universal to align the creative vision and implement their signature aesthetic while introducing innovative elements.
RESULTS
The result was a modern, engaging website that: ・Delivered a visually captivating and responsive experience for users. ・Highlighted Universal’s artists and content in an interactive way. ・Strengthened the brand’s online presence with improved SEO and usability. ・Successfully blended the iconic Universal brand identity with new, vibrant design elements celebrating the Latin American music culture.
