CHALLENGE
The resort’s previous website was outdated, cluttered, and didn’t reflect the relaxing, inviting experience of staying at Lake LBJ RV Resort. It also lacked mobile optimization, making it hard for users to browse amenities, view rates, and book stays on the go.
OBJECTIVE
Redesign the website to showcase the beauty of the location, simplify the booking process, and create a mobile-friendly experience that inspires guests to plan their stay. The goal was to deliver a modern, intuitive interface that communicated both the natural appeal and the professionalism of the resort.
ROLE & PROCESS
I designed the new website from the ground up, creating a clear structure that highlighted the resort’s key offerings: RV sites, cabins, amenities, and lake activities. ・Crafted a calm, nature-inspired color palette and typography to reflect the lakeside experience. ・Focused on user-friendly navigation and quick access to booking options. ・Designed mobile-first layouts to ensure accessibility for users on all devices. ・Integrated large, welcoming visuals to immerse visitors in the experience before they arrive.
RESULTS
The redesigned website delivered a much-improved user experience, reducing friction in the booking process and helping the resort better communicate its value. The clean, modern design better represents the brand and appeals to the resort’s diverse audience, ultimately supporting their mission to attract more guests and showcase the beauty of Lake LBJ.
